Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch For 2023 Ford F-450 With OEM Prep Package
Question:
Howdy! I recently purchased a 2023 Ford F-450 long bed. It has the Ford prep package in the bed. I have a 5th wheel which can weigh upwards of 19,000 lbs. I am looking for a 5th wheel hitch preferably rated for more than 20K. I have seen B and W hitches out on the road a lot.. are they any good?

For your 2023 F-450 I recommend the B&W Companion 25K # BWRVK3305. This will fit right in to the OEM puck system, and will be plenty strong for your 19K camper. B&W makes a great quality fifth wheel hitch. All of their stuff is made in the USA. Personally I prefer B&W over other major brands like Curt and Reese. Assembly in very straightforward, and the jaw/handle mechanism is very smooth and easy to operate.
I have included links to a install and review video below if you want to take a look.
