Is The Curt 55027 Still Available And Is There An Alternate Wiring Harness That Will Work?

The Curt 55027 has not been available for quite some time. The last one we sold was in 2015. I see that you were searching for parts for a 2012 Jeep Liberty. I can offer you the Curt wiring harness # C56334. This is extremely similar to the 55027 you mentioned. The main difference is that the new harness requires you to run a hot lead to the battery, while the 55027 did not.
It looks like all of the wiring harnesses I have for the 2102 Liberty will require you to run a hot lead for 12v. Basically this means that the vehicles lights do not have enough power to light the vehicles lights and the trailers lights. We have to add more power to the mix by connecting to the vehicles battery for 12v. Installation will be fairly straightforward.
