What Is The Maximum PSI Rating Of A 16" Aluminum Viking Wheel
Question:
What is the max psi on this wheel?
asked by: Gabriel
Expert Reply:
The wheel itself does not have a max PSI rating. Basically the wheel can handle the max PSI of any 16" trailer tire that will fit on it. The real factor here will be the PSI rating of the valve stem.
The valve stem that comes with the Viking 16" wheel # AX02660655BMMFL you were looking at is a metal valve stem rated for 80 PSI. If you have some larger load range G tires with a 110 PSI rating, you can replace the valve stems easily with part # AM20906 which can handle 110 PSI or more.
