Is The Mopar Wire Harness Required To Flat Tow A 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
Question:
I am being told by my installer there might be a need for a special wiring harness install in my 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 4x4 3.2L V6 to avoid an issue with the front brake sensor the round eye looking thing on the front. People were complaining Jeeps were vibrating when towing, and apparently there is a fix for it. It doesnt appear all Jeeps need the fix. What have you experienced?

The harness you're referring to is to fix the "Death Wobble" that some Jeep owners were experiencing, but the issue was fixed with the 2019+ models so you should not need it. That being said you can still reach out to Mopar to confirm if they've been receiving reports of any issues with your specific model.
Your battery will drain while you tow so you will want to install a charge line kit # RM-156-25 to keep it charged while you tow. If there isn't a charge line ran for your motorhome then you'll also need the # RM-156-75 as well.
