Recommended Simple Bike Rack for a 2020 Toyota Corolla Hauling a Beach Cruiser
Question:
Which bike rack would you use for a 2020 Corolla hybrid? I only need something that can carry a beach cruiser maybe 35lbs. Ideally, it would also be something that’s easy to install because I’d need to do it myself and I’m not very good at handy work. Thanks in advance!

By far the easiest bike racks to use and install are going to be hitch mounted racks. They are the easiest because they just slide into your hitch and it's ready to roll.
If you already have a hitch, the Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # TH934XTR is a great option. This rack has a maximum carrying capacity of up to 4 bikes weighing 35-lbs each, however since you likely have a class I (1-1/14") hitch you are limited to using it as a two bike carrier.
If you don't have a hitch and are interested in this, you can add a hitch with the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch # 24983.
If you don't want to have to add a hitch or anything like that, then your best bet is going to be to use a trunk mounted rack like the Saris Bones EX 2 Bike Rack # SAR83FR.
This bike rack will mount to your trunk via cam buckle straps and rubber clips, has a maximum capacity of 70-lbs, and is made in the USA.
These racks are not my personal favorite simply due to the fact that you have to mess with a bunch of straps and clips and what not. I'm all about simplicity, so if I could just slide a rack in/out of a hitch and achieve the same result or better, I'll lean that way but at the end of the day it's going to be up to you.
