5th Wheel Hitch Options for 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 With Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a 2022 Chevrolet 2500HD with the gooseneck hole I would like a 5th wheel. I see the video shows going into the square hole. I have a round adapter in the square hole. Does that come round adapter come out and then your square adapter go in or do I need to get a round one? Thank you.

The B&W Companion # BWRVK3500 is designed to fit the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1020. B&W is the only manufacturer that uses the square hole design. If that is what you have on your 2022 Silverado 2500 you can use this 5th wheel hitch. There are no adapters that would allow you to use it with a different gooseneck hitch.
If you have a standard gooseneck hitch with a round hole you can use the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045 instead. This fits on a 2-5/16" gooseneck ball up to 5" tall. It attaches directly to the gooseneck ball instead of sliding down into the gooseneck ball socket like the B&W does.
