Recommendations for 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn Still Getting Suspension Sag with Weight Distribution
Question:
I have a 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn, Crew Cab, 5.7 e-torque, 3.92 gears, with tow package. It squats terribly even with a weight distribution hitch. My camper is 31 feet overall and has a GVWR of 7700 pounds. My hitch weight is 627 pounds. I am looking for the best option to eliminate the squat that the coil spring suspension allows.

So the coil spring rams like your 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn are notorious for squating due to how soft the coil springs are, I ran into this on my 2016 Ram 1500.
I went with the air bags, which for your truck you'd need the Air Lift # AL88375. These do a good job of being adjustable so you can really fine tune the suspension to whatever you're carrying/towing, and are the least impactful on the unloaded ride.
Your other option would be replacing the spring bars on your weight distribution hitch with ones one tier higher, so that your suspension stays the same but your truck won't be sagging anywhere near as bad when towing. If you're ever towing a different trailer or carrying a lot in the bed you won't have any support though.
