Recommended Air Bags for a 2022 Ram 2500 w/ a 1-1/2 Inch Rear Lift

Question:

I have a 2022 ram 2500 with a three inch suspension lift so it is 3 inches to the front and I believe an inch and a half on the rear want to add airbags would like the 7500 pound I believe it is like the airlift ones what size plates/spacers but I need to add to the rear with my lift. I will be pulling a 42 foot fifth wheel. It does fine now just need the extra support in the rear. I believe you recommended the airlift 5000 pound bags was wondering your thoughts on the 7500 pound bags.

The 7,500 lbs Air Lift Helper Springs item # AL57589 would work great in your 2022 Ram 2500 and provide you with the extra support you are looking for. This set of air bags is also compatible with in bed hitches.

I have reached out to Airlift before and they state that on trucks that have have less than a 2" rear lift, a spacer kit shouldn't be needed for installation and proper performance. Neither Air Lift or Firestone make 1" or 1-1/2" spacers.

To operate the airbags from inside the vehicle, I recommend using an air compressor kit like the Firestone Air Command I item # F2097. This kit comes with an air compressor, single path controller, and all other airlines and fittings needed for installation.
