How to Replace Anti-Rattle Knob on Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 4 Bikes  

Question:

can u replace the knob on a Thule T2 Pro XTR .its a large 4 bike hitch mount, not sure of the model the one i have seems to be partially stripped on the inside, it only tightens up a certain amount and if you turn the knob any more it slips. it gets it ok tight but not tight enough like you can geta kuat rack the an allen key.

To replace the anti-rattle knob on the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # TH69TX you'll actually have to replace the whole lower assembly with part # TH37MY. Unfortunately that anti-rattle knob isn't available by itself which is why you have to replace the whole thing.

With that being said, this bike rack does have a limited lifetime warranty so if the knob became damaged under normal use I recommend pursuing the warranty.
