How To Install Deka Battery Isolator DW08771 On Outboard Motor with No Alternator
Question:
How do I wire a 2 battery setup on an outboard boat engine with a stator instead of an alternator? I am thinking about hooking the isolator input or alt to the starter positive battery. Then charge my other battery off of the isolator. Am I on the right track?

Yep you've got it!
You'll hook the A terminal of the Deka Battery Isolator # DW08771 up to your starting battery, the E terminal to an power source that only has power when your outboard motor is running, and then the 2 terminal to your secondary battery.
