Replacement Axles For Tandem UFP 3,700LB Torsion Axles On Boat Mate Trailer
Question:
Hello, I am looking for some replacement axles for my Boat Mate trailer. I currently have UFP axles serial number A649907 and A649908. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I was able to determine your 3,700lb UFP torsion axles should have a hub face of 89" and the bracket spread is 72". While we do not carry torsion axle we do have the Timbren Silent Ride Suspension for Tandem Axle Trailers # TSR7000T04 which you could combine with 2 Dexter Trailer Axles # T3584F-EZ-8974. These axles and the suspension are only rated for 3,500lbs a piece versus the 3,700lbs you currently have. If this is an issue you would need to the Timbren Silent Ride Suspension # T89MR with 2 Dexter Trailer Axles # 8327820. The suspension is rated for 7,700lbs and the axle are rated for 5,200lbs each. This gives you components stronger than your trailer has but you will still want to stay with the weight specifications given from Boat Mate.
Please let me know what option makes the most sense and I can help you find the best disc brake setup for your trailer.
