Phone Will Not Pair Echo With Bluetooth Settings
Question:
Removed the echo wireless brake controller from previous tow vehicle, had it installed on new tow vehicle but now it will not pair with my cell phone. The flashing blue light when trailer not connected or green light when trailer is connected work but the controller can’t find my cell phone to connect. It worked with no problems on the previous vehicle. I removed the app and reinstalled it, I d the pairing on my Bluetooth settings from before. Still no connection. Any other ideas?

Thank you for your purchase directly from etrailer of the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180. I can take a guess at the issue, and based on my understanding of what you wrote, the problem could be with the pairing on the Bluetooth settings from before. Try going into your settings on your phone and make sure to disconnect the Bluetooth from the Echo, then go to the Curt app and pair the brake controller. If you do not disconnect the Bluetooth from the Echo in your settings it will not allow you to pair. If this doesn't work you have a warranty claim with Curt.
