Troubleshooting An RV Fireplace That Blinks And Won't Heat

Question:

When I turn on the fireplace it blinks and the fire turns off but the temperature light still blinks. We did have something too close to the censer but moved it away. We turned off the breaker thinking we could reset it but nothing worked

To fully reset the Furrion RV Electric Fireplace # FF30SC15ABL you'll want to remove the unit from the wall and unplug it from the wall outlet for about 15 mins. There could be enough residual power in the line to keep the circuit board in the fireplace powered for a bit even though you shut off the breaker. Once it's fully reset you'll want to ensure nothing is close enough to set the proximity sensor off again and can test the fireplace.
