How To Tighten The Fabric Of The SM Arnold RV Chenille Microfiber Wash Mop To The Handle

I cannot figure out how to make the mop stay on the handle. It doesnt seem to attach securely. Any suggestions?

You could tighten up the fabric on the SM Arnold RV Chenille Microfiber Wash Mop # 38185-332 by cutting a hole in the fabric where I have pictured below and run a thicker string or elastic band through each hole to pull the fabric tighter against the handle to prevent it from slipping off during use.
