Fitting Needed For Water Supply Line For A Dometic 320Full-Timer RV Toilet

Question:

Hi I have a Dometic 320 in my cottage. The water supply line requires a deeper than standard connecting nut in order to make contact with enough threads to hold it on properly. This is mentioned in the installation manual. I have not been able to find one of these. Where can they be obtained? Thank you

Expert Reply:

I spoke with Dometic and there tech stated that all of the 300-series models use the exact same valve that requires a standard 1/2" NPT fitting. If you go to your local hardware store they'll typically have 1/2" faucet supply line hoses that are around 1-2' in length and will typically have a larger plastic nut like the residential toilet supply lines have that would give you more threads.
