Mounting Brackets For BoatBuckle Tie Downs That Bent From Boat Hull On Trailer
Question:
Shorelander bunk trailer with boat buckles attached to light fixture. 1750 crestliner raptor. when driving boat onto trailer my hull must have hit both boat buckles and moved them forward-bent the metal they were mounted to. how do i correct problem and prevent form happening in future

For the BoatBuckle Tie-Down Straps # IMF08893 themselves you will want to check the mount tab for any cracks that may have occurred. If you have cracks in the steel you will want to replace the entire assembly. We do have the Mounting Bracket # IMF14254 which may allow you to position the straps away from the area where your boat hull can contact it while loading.
Otherwise please send me some images of your boat and trailer and I can give you other alternatives.
