Solution for Replacement Key for Wells Cargo Car Trailer

Looking for replacement key VL404 for my Wells Cargo Car Trailer.

I do have a solution, but the VL404 key is not something that we carry. Based on information from other customers with similar key codes, keys for this lock are no longer available. The best option is to replace the door handle completely. If you remove the handle and check the dimensions of the cutout hole to we can find a suitable replacement.
For example the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option # 295-000002 will install in cutouts that are 2-1/2" - 3" wide x 3-1/2" - 4" tall. It requires a door thickness of 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick.
