Replacement Strap for Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller
Question:
I bought the Curt plug in brake controller. Finally used it, the strap broke within the first 5 miles. I ended up using duct tape to hold it on. The nipple on the strap sheared off. Can you send me a replacement please, I just bought this a few months ago. Is there a better way to secure the controller? I don’t have much faith in this strap. 2022 Coachman Encore RV, 2021 Ford F53 chassis.

We do offer a replacement strap for the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller part # C51180, it's the Replacement Strap for Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C28HR. If you like, you can always reach out to Curt directly if you feel you need to make a warranty claim. That said, I can't say I have heard of many others who had issues with their strap. We don't offer these but I have a set of Titan Straps which are similar that I use for various things and they may work for this as well if you want to check then out. They are super heavy-duty.
