Is There a Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 1972 Jeep Renegade?
Question:
Hi, I have a 1972 Jeep renegade that I am needing a trailer hitch for. I dont know what, if any bumper came on this, but there is a flat metal frame across the back between the frame on each side that has predrilled holes in it. it looks like to bolt a bumper or hitch to. Do you have a hitch that will fit this application? Thanks

It appears no one is manufacturing a trailer hitch receiver for your 1972 Jeep Renegade, which is likely due to the age of your Jeep. I recommend looking at the Curt Weld-On 2" Receiver # E17 for your Jeep. This receiver is bare steel so you will be able to weld it and any support plates to your Jeep before painting the assembly. If you are unsure you can visit a nearby fabrication shop to get their opinion on what they will be able to fabricate.
