Fit of Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 Trunk Mount Bike Rack # HRF6-2 on 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse

Question:

Will the 2 bike Hollywood trunk car rack fit on my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse? I read another persons question about the 3 bike trunk rack, and Im assuming the straps on the two bike rack are just as long. Is there also a way to attach a picture so all of us Eclipse owners can see what the trunk rack looks like? Thanks!!

The Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 Bike Rack, part # HRF6-2 is not a fit for your 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse, I have confirmed this with Hollywood Racks. I have three trunk racks that will fit as long as you do not have a spoiler on your Eclipse. You could use the Hollywood Racks Express 3 # HRE3.

If you go with one of these and plan to carry women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # HRBA-PRO is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.

If you do have a spoiler, you could consider adding a Curt Hitch # C11293 to your Eclipse and then using a hitch bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider platform bike rack # HR200Z.
