What is Difference Between etrailer and Curt Hitch for 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan

Im curious about the differences between the Curt C13381and the E-Trailer e43ZR. they appear to be very similar but the videos have difference clearance levels on the 2019 Tiguan. Can you help me understand if there is a difference?

The Curt hitch part # C13381 and etrailer hitch part # e43ZR are very similar as they are both made by same company with the only real difference being that the etrailer hitch has a matte finish and the Curt has a gloss finish.

It's a pretty subtle difference but matte will be a little less noticeable and should hide scratches and scuffs better.

The ground clearance dimension between the two should be identical. I am not sure how two different numbers were come up with unless there was something preventing the suspension from fully settling in one vs. the other.
