Where Does Blue Wire Go On 2011 Toyota Sienna with 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit ETBC7L

Question:

looking to upgrade my 2011 toyota sienna from the existing CURT 4-pin c59236 to your ETBC7L 7 Way Plug. I also want to use the CURT C51180 bluetooth brake controller. My question is when installing the 7-Way Upgrade Kit on the van, what do I connect the blue brake controller output wire too? I am assuming that if my brake controller is going to be bluetooth, and I do not have an existing brake controller, that I simply do not connect this wire? I would still run the fused 12V source and Reverse Signal.

Expert Reply:

Correct, the blue brake output wire does not need connected when installing the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L. The brake output signal comes directly from the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller part # C51180 and goes to the trailer brakes. It can simply be taped up and tied off.
