What Does Internal Error Mean on Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller

I have a Trailer-Brake-Controller/Tekonsha prodigy P3 that is intermittently, showing a red screen with “internal error”. Is there a solution to this? I bought it from etrailer. Thanks
