Replacement Gooseneck Pin Box for a 2022 Grand Design Momentum 5W Toy Hauler with Rhino Pin Box
Question:
Purchasing a 2022 Grand Design 351 MS. Really looking for the 20K Reese Goosebox not sure the 16K will get the jo done. Not sure either will fit however. I was told that GD changed the Lippert frame with the 2022 MS model and these may not work, I dont have the pin box # to provide. Want to make sure Im getting a compatible part or if it simply needs adapters. Thanks!

I have a great replacement pin box solution for you, but currently the Reese Goose Box is in a type of "Limbo" state (May 2023) as the Reese parent company was bought out and they are trying to figure out inventory and what all they will continue to carry.
According to my research your 2022 Grand Design Momentum 5W Toy Hauler has a Rhino pin box which has a unique bolt pattern so there are only certain replacements that can be used. I recommend checking out the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY23GR which is a similar adapter style to the Goose Box, but it uses rubber torsion arms as opposed to an air bag and shock.
If you do decide to go this route be sure to pick up the Safety Chain Kit # GY49GR since a gooseneck coupling system requires the chains.
