Recommended SumoSprings For 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD For Regular Use

Question:

Just bought a lifted 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the 6.6 Duramax. I am looking at Sumo Springs for the no maintenance aspect and durability. Which springs would you recommend for a work/ daily driver truck that will be used to go offroad hunting and fishing, driving in the snow, towing a 5th wheel and other trailers and used to pick up a pallet of wood pellets, etc. ? Thank you for your help and I look forward to hearing from you.

Expert Reply:

Since you are using your 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD for so many different things, including heavy towing and loads in the bed, the highest density springs are the best ones, with the correct fit being the following:

- SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-211-54

These have a 2,800 lb capacity and are the highest density which means they will offer the sturdiest support for your truck bed when you have these heavy loads, are towing, and going offroad.
