Tongue Weight Capacity for 2023 Toyota BZ4X I am about to take delivery of a 2023 T
Question:
Hello. I am about to take delivery of a 2023 Toyota BZ4X. The factory hitch they sell for the vehicle activity mount is rated for 110lbs tongue weight. The hitch you sell for the BZ4X, C92NR is rated for 200lbs. Is this this difference in rating valid, or is the 110lbs limiting due to the vehicle specs? I understand this may a question for the manufacturer Toyota, but I thought you may be able to provide insight. Thanks!!!

Expert Reply:
Our Curt hitch # C92NR that fits your 2023 Toyota BX4X is over-rated for your vehicle so you'd still be limited to the 110 lbs that Toyota has for it. The hitch is designed and independently rated which is why it has a higher capacity than needed.
