Recommended Scissor Stabilizer Jack For A 2012 Rockwood Mini Lite 1809S
Question:
Hello. We need to replace one of the stabilizer scissor jacks on our 2012 Rockwood Mini Lite 1809s. However, we do not know which one to buy as a replacement. We saw that stabilizers are based on weight but is that the weight of the whole trailer dry or packed with cargo and people? Thanks in advance for your help.

The stabilizer would only be receiving a small portion of the weight since the wheels and tongue jack would be holding the majority of the weight. They weight capacity is more so there just because if you use it to level the trailer it would be picking up more of the trailer's weight. We base everything off of the trailer's GVWR to be safe but most likely the trailer will weigh quite a bit less depending on how you packed it.
Your 2012 Rockwood Mini Lite 1809S travel trailer has a GVWR under 5,000lbs so adding four of the Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TJSC-24 to it would be more than enough capacity since the jacks are rated for 2,500lbs. If you like to order this stabilizer in a 4-pack you can use part # TJSCHD-24-4.
