What Trailer Hitch Can I Used W/ My 40' IC Bus

Question:

Hello, I have a 40’ 2010 IC rear engine bus that I need a hitch for. We’d like to occasionally tow a friend’s car on a dolly it’s a Hyundai Santa Fe, about 3500 lbs, or at other times, if possible, my partner’s Ram Promaster almost 7000 lbs. What do you recommend? Thank you.

The only hitches we have that're going to work with your motorhome like the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703 are going to be able to handle up to 3,500-lbs which is not going to be enough for your ProMaster.

If you can let me know what the year make and model of your ProMaster is and I can piece together a flat towing kit for you if you'd like.

Just to give you an idea, the kit would consist of:

- A base plate kit # 3154-3,

- A set of tow bars # RM-676,

- A wiring harness # C63CR,

&

- A braking system # SM99243.

If you're interested, let me know and I'd be happy to help.
