Solution for Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2012 Porsche Panamera
Question:
Hello! I need a 2inch receiver to put a bike rack on my 2012 Panamera. There used to be a stealth hitch for the 2012 model, you dont stock it and they apparently no longer make it. Any idea how I can find one? You do have a StealthHitch for the 2017+ model, maybe the last one made, as those are also discontinued now.. is there a user manual or a drawing that can help me figure out what sort of work Id need to do to adapt it to my earlier model car? I cant use a roof rack for this bike, its a heavy tandem, so I need to find or fabricate a hitch. If youve got an old manual for the 2012 maybe that can help me? Thanks!

It looks like there was a Stealth Hitch for the 2012 Panamera which was the SHR35005. It has been discontinued and is nowhere to be found. I cannot recommend adapting the Stealth Hitch to your 2012 model either since it is only designed to fit the 2017-2021 models. Your best bet is to have a hitch custom fabricated for your vehicle. You can take the Curt Weld-On 2" Receiver for Custom Fabricated Hitches # E17 to a fabricator and have them fashion a hitch that can be used to carry your bike rack.
