Does 2007 Ford F-250 Need to Be Flashed to Replace OEM Brake Controller with Aftermarket

I have a 2007 Ford F250 super duty with the factor interested trailer brake controller and I want to install my P3 controller. Will I Need to Reflash the PCM if I Install the brake controller?

Yes, you will need to have your 2007 Ford F-250 flashed at a Ford dealership to install the Prodigy P3 and corresponding plug and play adapter:

- Prodigy P3 # 90195
- Plug and Play Adapter # 3065-P

We've had some people ask about disconnecting the battery for a bit and while this is worth a shot, it's likely not going to resolve the issue so you'll need to take the truck in to a dealer.
