Can The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner Be Hardwired To An Existing Controller
Question:
just bought a 13500 advent no directions jus one plug that sticks out the bottom my unit im replacing has no controls in bottom its wire direct do i jus cut plug off and wire the new one direct

If you don't have a port to plug in the wiring harness for your Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM135 then you would need to get a new controller and air distribution box. Cutting the connector off would void your warranty and the instruction manual doesn't list the wire functions of the connector so it would be a guess as to where each wire would need to be connected to your current controller.
If you want your controls to be located up on the air distribution box then you'll want part # ACDB. If you'd prefer to have a separate wall controller/thermostat then you'll want part # ACRG15.
