Recommended 7-Way Connector for a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder to Use a Curt Echo
Question:
I have a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder. It has a factory 4 way currently and I will be upgrading it using the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector Item # C56226. Can I use # C51180 in leu of installing a traditional brake box or will I still need to wire an adaptor under the dash to use C51180?

The Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller item # C51180 is controlled through an app on your phone and does not require a connection to a brake controller wire. I am guessing that's what you mean by a traditional brake box and under dash adapter. All you will need to add to your 2008 Nissan Pathfinder is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56226 you mentioned. This 7-way harness works with the Pathfinders that came with the towing package.
I have linked a couple of installation and review videos below so you can see how to get these parts set up.
