Recommended A/C For a Homemade 6-Horse Trailer That Can Survive Hot Summers
Question:
I am building a 6 horse box with 3 separate compartments, the size of each compartment 2.4mx2.4mx2.3mhigh. 1 compartment for 3 horses, 2nd compartment also for 3 horses and 3rd to sleep 2 grooms. The box will be installed on a mercedes atego chassis. Can you advise on an AC system to cool the full box at a temperature that reaches 50 degrees C in the summer

By far the best A/C you can put on your trailer is the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone # FR55PV.
This air conditioner comes with a wall thermostat that has a digital display, an air distribution box with two slotted registers for maximum airflow, dual motors that allow the fans to move cold air quicker and more efficiently, and a start capacitor that offers an extra boost to help jump-start your AC when a campsite or generator doesn't provide enough power.
This unit also includes all the mounting hardware and brackets so everything will be ready to roll from the box.
