2012 Chevy Silverado has 6.5 Foot Bed But Universal 5th Wheel Installation Kit Only Says 6 Foot Bed
Question:
have 2012 6.5ft bed. instructions show measurement for 8ft box and 6ft box for placement of rail but nothing for the 6.5ft box? Where is the rail suppost to go?

Bed sizes of 8 foot and 6 foot are often generic since the bed lengths rarely are exactly 8 and 6 feet. You would go with the short bed measurement when installing 5th wheel installation kit # RP30035 on your 2012 Chevy Silverado which is 25-1/4 inches to the rear edge of the back rail.
