Recommended Tow Bar Wiring Kit For 2013 Subaru Outback
Question:
We have a customer with a 2009 Coachman Concord motor home and they want to flat tow a 2013 Subaru Outback 4cyl all wheel drive. I figure the Blue Ox BX7380 Alpha 2 tow bar will work, with the BX3617 baseplate, along with the Patriot 3 braking system. I am trying to find a vehicle RV wiring harness for it. I know weve used Curt wiring harness with these tow systems before, but I couldnt find a Curt harness specific to the 2013 Subaru, other than the universal 58979. Thanks.

I have an option for you, but Curt nor any other manufacturer makes a custom flat tow harness for your customers 2013 Subaru Outback.
Instead you'll need to use a diode kit # RM-15267 which will splice into the factory taillight wiring. While this option is a little more work, I personally only like to install diode kits as when we see issues with tow bar wiring it is almost always a custom fit harness that failed, where the diode kits are much more reliable.
The rest of the parts you mentioned:
Blue Ox Alpha 2 # BX7380
Blue Ox Base Plate # BX3617
Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR
Will all work together on your customers car, but once you get the motorhome and vehicle you'll need to use the below help article to verify if you'll need to get them a high-low adapter as well.
I included a video of the # RM15267 being installed on a different car for you to take a look at.
