Can the Reese Pull Pin Locking Plates Be Used On An M5 Hitch Head?
Question:
Can these go on the 1/2” pull pins #3 for 20k Reese M5 Head? I don’t trust the spring clips #4.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Reese Pull Pin Lock Plates for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP58093 are designed for any 1/2" pull pin, however they were meant to be used with a lock like # ML140DLH so they are really more geared toward the pull pins that secure the base to the rails.
So with that being said, your only real option is to use the supplied spring clips.
