Troubleshooting Fogatti Water Heater That Blew Fuse Immediately and Won't Turn On
Question:
Trying to install fogatti unit, first try fuse blows. Replace fuse and now it will not power on at all, after removing wiring and redoing with white to white black to black. Place wiring back to initial that blew fuse, and won’t power on. What is wrong?

The wire colors on the Fogatti RV Tankless Waterheater # LSB44FR are black and red, with black being the negative wire to the battery, and red being the positive, though recently we've seen that sometimes it uses black and white with black being power and white being negative.
It sounds like it was originally wired incorrectly which caused it to blow a fuse.
Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test the positive and negative wire you're hooking up and make sure it has power still. When it was wired incorrectly it could have tripped a circuit breaker or different fuse closer to the battery, and right not may not even be sending power.
Let me know what you find.
