Recommended Fifth Wheel Hitch Options For A 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor With Ride Height Sensors
Question:
Hi, I have a 2022 F-150 with the 56foot bed and the ride height sensors and I want to buy a fifth wheel hitch and all the accessories to tow my fifthwheel. Which kit is made to fit the ride height sensors? A lot of kits are not designed for Raptors or Ride height equiped F-150.

The ride height sensors in your 2022 Ford F-150 are simply there to increase the air pressure of your shocks to help keep the ride height at its factory position. Essentially the same as how an aftermarket air spring system would function. With you having a 5.5' bed your options are a bit limited due to turning clearance restrictions.
If your trailer has a rotating pin box then you can use a standard trailer hitch and rail kit like Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16120 and Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ford # C93WR. You'll also need a wedge kit like # C16992 in order to lock the king pin into the jaws of the hitch.
If you don't have a rotating pin box then you'll need to use a sliding hitch like the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550040 along with the Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches # DM8552028-71.
