Recommended RV and Trailer E-Bike Rack that Does Not Have a Minimum Tongue Weight Requirement
Question:
The Hollywood RV Rider user manual states a Class III Hitch with a minimum tongue weight of 350 lbs is required. I have a chassis mounted 2” hitch with a stated tongue weight of 300 lbs. The class is not identified. Combined weight of the bikes and rack would be around 200 lbs. Would this configuration be supported?

I have a solution for you but I checked with Hollywood Racks and they confirmed you need to have a tongue weight capacity rating of at least 350 lbs in order to use the RV Rider item # HLY64FR regardless of how much under that capacity you are. This bike rack will not work with your hitch's 200 lbs tongue weight.
Instead you will want the Swagman E-Spec item # S94FR, which does not have a 350 lbs tongue weight requirement. The E-Spec still comes with a high weight capacity of 70 lbs per bike and is capable of being used behind all vehicles, trailers, and flat towed vehicles with a 2" hitch.
I have linked a review video below.
