Are there set screws that can be loosened to turn the head 90deg?

Yes, you can rotate the Electric Jack w/ Footplate part # EJ-3520-BBX in one of three ways so that the controls face forward, back to the right, or back to the left. Just remove the nuts/bolts, rotates, then reinstall once you get the jack in the correct orientation for your setup. The jack mounting holes are symmetrical.
