How To Reduce Noise From Your RV Water Pump
Question:
One more question: is this the quietest pump you sell? I see it is positive displacement diaphragm pump, so good suction, good output. The existing pump on our boat is old and noisy, not sure what brand or type it is.

Having worked with a good majority of the water pumps we currently carry they all are about the same noise level. Most of what you're really hearing is just the vibration of the water lines as the pump works. A really cheap fix is to cover them with some foam pipe insulation to help silence the vibration.
You could also add a layer of rubber to space where you plan on mounting the Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump # LC689054 to help dampen any vibration between it and the floor.
