How Does Red Wire of Optronics Clearance Light STL59RB Run to Yellow and Green Wires
Question:
I understand that the Black wire on a 3 wire light is running lights and attached to the Brown wire on a 4 wire plug, and the White is for the ground. How is the Red brake/turn wire attached to the Green and Yellow wires? A diagram would help.

Expert Reply:
The red wire of the Optronics trailer taillight part # STL59RB gets ran to the stop/turn circuit of either side of the trailer. The left and right blinkers have to be on separate circuits so that they don't activate at the same time. The green wire on the trailer is typically the left side stop/tail and the yellow wire gets ran to the left turn/brake circuit.
