Tow Bar Lighting/Wiring Options for Flat-Towing a 1994 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
All of the towing wiring harnesses Ive seen show fit for much newer models than my 1994 Wrangler. Will the diode system work on these older models?

Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit you referenced, part # RM-154, will work on your 1994 Jeep Wrangler. This kit includes the 4-pole connectors, diodes and wiring components for installation that will allow your Wrangler tail light bulbs to operate in tandem with your RV. This is a great option for frequent flat-towing. I have linked an install video for your reference.
A simpler option, and one that does not require any alteration to your toad wiring, is to use a plug-in magnetic tow light kit such as the Optronics # TLL21RK or the Hopkins # C6304 which features wireless connection and LED lights for low power consumption.
I have included a link to our main page for tow bar wiring for your 1994 Jeep Wrangler where you can see these and other options.
