Longest Truck Bed Extended for Hauling Longer Load in Truck Bed
Question:
I have a Chevy Silverado with a 6ft bed. Could this be used to transport oak fence boards that are 16ft log? Trying to understand how much additional length this would give me.

The Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender part # MAL32VR will provide an extension of 53" when measured from the center of the hitch pin to the load bar when used in the horizontal position. I can't say whether this is enough support for your particular load but I can say it's the longest extension we offer. I'd also advise you to check with local state officials for regulations on oversized loads while traveling.
