Best Trailer Hitch Receiver for Towing with 2023 Ford Explorer
Question:
I need a hitch for my 2023 explorer. What do you recommend. Thinking about towing trailer

Expert Reply:
For your 2023 Ford Explorer I recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e29YR. The 600lb tongue weight and 6,000lb towing capacity make it great for towing though you'll want to double check the capacities of your vehicle in your owner's manual. I also really like the matte black finish because it does a better job of blending in to the black plastic trim around the bumper allowing the hitch to blend in better.
To be able to tow your trailer you'll also need the following parts:
Wiring Harness # 118599
Ball Mount Kit # 989900
I included a video of Brad installing this hitch on a similar '22 Explorer for you to take a look at.
