The length of your original pin box would not necessarily impact whether a given air ride pin box will fit. The bolt hole pattern of the turret where the pin box bolts to the 5th wheel is what determines if the replacement pin box will fit. If the bolt patterns match, the fully loaded and ready to tow weight of the 5th wheel needs to be within the weight capacity of the air ride pin box.
In order to determine if there is a compatible replacement air ride pin box, I would need to know the name of the manufacturer and the model number of your existing pin box. This information can typically be found on a sticker or plate attached to the pin box. Lippert, Venture, Fabex and Leland are the most common OEM pin box manufacturers. With this information, I can recommend the correct air-ride replacement.
If you cannot find manufacturer or model number information, take a look at the article I have linked you to. The article shows how to measure the bolt holes to determine if a replacement is available. You can print the article, fill in the hole spacing dimensions, and then compare them to the information in the table provided in the article. Or, you can send me the measurements and I can check for you.
