Difference Between 50 and 58 inch Malone Aero Crossbar Roof Racks for 2015 Toyota RAV4
Question:
I am looking at the cross rack for my 2015 Toyota Rav4 Malone aero with side rails and dont understnad the purpose of the 2 lenghts 50 and 58 inch Why one oer the other. Thanks

Malone does have their 50 inch crossbar rack part # MPG215 that fits your 2015 Toyota RAV4 with raised rails as well as the 58 inch version part # MPG216 like you mentioned. So the longer option gives you more crossbar space for roof top accessories and would be the way to go if you need the absolute most space you can get. The downside being that you might not like the way the longer bars look, they might be so long that you could bump your head on them accidentally getting in and out of the vehicle, and there would be more wind noise.
So the shorter bars would be more ideal if you didn't like the downsides mentioned or you just don't have a lot of wide accessories to carry. You could use a tape measure to see how wide your roof is overall and see how either length would look/feel for you.
