Advantages of Using a Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System With a 3,700LB Trailer
Question:
I am towing a trailer with max gross weight of 3697 lbs and max tongue weight of 380 lbs with a 2022 Nissan Frontier SV crew cab. Is there any advantage to a weight distribution hitch for this?

Using a Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET with your trailer will help you in 2 ways. First it helps to reduce rear end sag which gives you better steering feel and braking. Second it works to prevent trailer sway. This is typically more of an issue for enclosed and camping trailers due to their large side walls and strong winds on the highways. This combination will provide you with a much calmer towing experience and less white knuckle driving. I prefer the Equal-i-zer as they have been around for a long time and have built a reputation that all others strive to compete with.
This particular System # EQ37060ET is rated for a trailer up to 6,000lbs with a tongue weight of 200-600lbs. It includes a 2" hitch ball or you can get a 2-5/16" Ball # EQ91-00-6100 if you have the larger coupler. You will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install the hitch ball if you plan on installing the system yourself.
