Is there a Direct Plug In Port on a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado for Installing a Brake Controller

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2011 Chevrolet Silverado there is not a direct plug in application under the dash that will connect the brake controller and your vehicle. On that generation of Silverados the wiring that connects to the brake controller is established from the factory and is located under the steering column.
You will need to locate this wiring bundle, and hard wire your truck wiring to the plug that connects to the back of your brake controller (part # C51515). I have included a helpful article that details this wiring process, as well as a couple of connections you may need to make under the hood of your truck.
I have included a video showing a similar Curt brake controller installation on a 2008 Silverado, but the process will be the same for your truck.
