The MaxxFan Mini Plus Manual RV Roof Vent # MA00-03851 would be a great option if you're trying to use the fan while on the road or in inclement weather, but it doesn't have a thermostat so you would have to manually turn it on or off. This option doesn't require the lid to be lifted open like most RV vents.
If you're wanting a vent that can automatically turn on when temperatures get too high and would still have a weatherproof lid then you'll want MaxxAir's Deluxe line. There are manual lift options that will stick kick on but would require you to manually lift the vent via the knob or powered options that will automatically lift the vent to exhaust air out. Both vent styles will still work with the vent closed but you would get more of a ceiling fan effect rather than an exhaust fan effect.
Manual Lift Options:
Smoke # MA00-06200K
White # MA00-05100K
Powered Lift Options:
Smoke # MA00-07500K
White # MA00-07000K
These options don't have a light but are much more powerful than the MaxxFan Mini and have the thermostat so you wouldn't have to manually turn them on every time.
